| I seen you and this truck cruising in Niceville sunday.... which leads me to my next point: You should be a little more considerate on the road bro. Not to be hating on ya or anything but you cut me and my family off and that ticked us all off.On the flip side, the truck sounds great! Not sure if it could stand up to my truck though. | |

| It's cool bro. Like I said not meaning to make anyone angry. Just wanted to make note of it. I've probably done it a dozen times on accident just out of not paying attention.
What all have you done to your truck? Is it the 5.0? | |

| yeah, its got the 5.0 w/ a manual tranny. dont know what kind though, i know the mustangs came w/ a t5, but i havent had time to get under there and see what kind of transmission mine is. havent really done much to it performance wise. ive spent about 2-3 grand just getting it to good running ability. ive got a new waterpump, powersteering pump, a/c, spark plugs and wires, distributor cap, new radiator, whole new headunit and speakers, DJM 3/5 drop, cat back exhaust, and underdrive pulleys. im forgetting some stuff and theres a bunch of little stuff here and there too. it ran a 10.3 up at holt last time i took it, but my shifter is so long half my time goes to shifting. ive got a little quicker though. | |

| If you don't have the money for a shorter shifter you could always cut the shifter down to the desired optimum height for you and then just glue a shift knob to the top of what's left. I know it's tacky but a lot of people do it. Whatever works I always say, LOL.
Take it easy man. | |

| uhh.... I PLEED THA FIFFF! haha. no, it doesnt. unfortunantly. the people that had it before me over heated it and the radiator literally exploded so it was stained w/ radiator fluid and cleaned most of it, but some of it is being stubborn and wont come off. it also had a valve cover leak before i got it so it has oil gunk in some places. i dont know what to put on there to clean it up though other than to just sit there and scrape it all off. does anybody know of any chemical stuff that will clean it up? | |

| Well surely you tried regular engine degreaser. I'd try spraying some wheel cleaning acid like they have in most car wash places and dealerships on a scrubbing pad and scrub it. Course you'll wanna try it in a small area first to make sure it doesn't strip the paint off. Definately wouldn't want to just spray it on everything cause it will streak everything permanantly when it dries. | |

| Ford motors don't have any more problems than chevy's or dodge's. I work at O'reilly Auto Parts and I get about an equal amount of each calling with problems every day. | |
