| GSRCivic FTW... I pulled away from you on the street and got faster times at the track. The only reason Chase got a better time than me is because his car was gutted...anyone have any doubts now? | |

| woah woah.....you got better times at the track i will admit...that was only my second time ever running at the track. I cant launch for shit....
As far as the street goes.....we were pulling on each other.....but every time we raced when i would stick it in 5th gear you would start to slowly leave me or real me back in. Its a quick little civic....i will give you that. GSR motor def pulls harder in a civic than in a Teg.

| "you would start to slowly leave"...that means I won , but we did stay right next to eachother the hole time, but we were both still going in top gear and i started to pull away...it's pretty even though | |

| ohhh I hope you dont mean me cause I think the K is an amazing platform and the most advanced motor Honda has on the market. If you got the paper I think its the most bang for your buck.
What im saying is that the RSX itself has a flaw in it somewhere that holds the Ks potential hostage. So we gotta fing out how to free up those ponys. I could be completely wrong and just have not seen one driven to its full potential.

| our power hinderance is all the damn weight that those engines lug around.
As far as HP numbers go 02-04 Type-S would typically dyno from the factory about 170 05-06 Type-S would be around 180 (type R crap they threw on em)
Adams dyno day i did 182whp with: 03 RSX S Comptech Shorty Headers Comptech Icebox Megan Racing test pipe HKS Hi-Power 2.5" exhaust
Chase with a 04 RSX S did 193.7 with Toda Race Headers AEM V2 intake Greddy Exhaust
He used to walk me as soon as he nailed Vtec but i recently got Strup Race Headers and now when we race we are dead even. It comes down to whoever screws up their shifting.

| shorty headers killed your power, the k responds so much better then the old honda motors, i believe with a good driver, a i/h/e rsx-s shoudl killinate a i/h/e B anything. but thats just me. then again ive seen good drivers take a bone stock type s down the 1/4 with 14.8 times, but there arent THAT many good drivers lol. | |

| It's really hard to believe that a BONE STOCK RSX Type-S could get a 14.8 in the 1/4. Just Don't think it can happen. After a certain point, it doesn't matter how good of a driver you are if the car just can't make it down that track that fast. Don't know, that's something I'd have to see with my own eyes. | |

| well u could always just start talkin parts off the car like interior, fenders, sound deading, etc....and it would still be bone stock but faster | |

| This is true...**cough**CHASE**cough**. Still think it's funny that he was only 2 10ths of a second faster than me and he took off his exhaust, and had no back seat. But it's cool...he still went faster. | |

| Its a good choice and it shows. With more seat time youd be amazed how much you can improve your times. WHen I was just starting out the best I could get the teg down to was a 9.4. I let Posey drive it three times down the track and he was able to get a 9.0 outta it with no changes just proper driving. Hes been dragging at the track for years. | |

| Yeah...i've been to the track a grand total of 3 times. I need a lot more seat time and I plan on getting it to. My goal right now is still the 9.5...I plan on doing that next time i go to holt | |
