heres the latest project car

So I bought another car today from a friend. The car is not running and in need of a serious cleaning but other than that its very straight. Minimal rust and from what I can see no dents at all.

Its a 1990 CRX HF Ive been wanting one for a long time for the weight. So freakin light. Here it is brace yourself.

I have no clue as to why the car wont run. The guy said it just quit on the highway and wont even turn over his words were "its locked up" we will see.

The first thing im gonna do before I even get it to the house is stop by the car wash and pressure wash everything, motor included. I dont care about getting everything all wet its all comming out. I cant wait im itchin so bad... oh never mind thats my crabs

i saw it yesterday, i just didn't really like the fact that my words were changed, yes i changed yours in a quote but people could still see what you originally said and i made the difference stand out.

the comment that was changed was really insignificant but it was still changed and that scares me because what else could be changed? i know somebody that has been turned down for a job because of something that was wrote on an internet forum. now if i wrote it and i didn't get a job because of it thats fine, but if a moderator changed my post and i lost a job opportunity as a result i would be a little ticked to say the least.

To get us back on subject...

Joey and I are going to pick up the REX on thursday. I freakin cant wait to get my hands on that thing. Thursday also happens to be my birthday. So its gonna be a bitchen present to myself. Now gettin it out of the freakin woods is another thing. Its like 5 miles deep into the land of "Deliverance". I swear I heard a banjo when we were out there the other day. I am also still waiting for my "Full Race" traction bar that the wifey bought me for my B-day.

so what are ur future plans for this thing

were gonna use my tow dolly to get it to his house, then ater he cleans it up were gonna put a budget motor ($500>$1500) and train it to run 7.30s to 6.90s on spray depending on how willing dave is to separate with some weight

that bitch is gonna be light if I have to cut out the floor and fiberglass it. I love that stuff. No AC no PS no interior. you get the picture

Were gonna go get it tomorrow Ive got work to do tomorrow.

So heres the 91 CRX HF that just got for a steal from a guy I know. I didnt realize how far out in the sticks he lived until it came time to check this puppy out. It was his commuter car that he says just died one day on his way to work. He towed it home, dragged behind his double wide and there it sat for three years. So I gladly took it off his hands since I am finishing a build right now and still have the itch to build. I realized just how far out we were in the woods when the theme song from deliverance was echoing out of the woods. The car was as you can see covered in red clay due to the hillbilly highway he lives off of.
