| oh, and question about the whole mini me thing. does it really make a difference if you just swap the head, instead of the whole motor? | |

| honestly the a6 block has the best oiling properties and strongest sleaves, so for a durabilty stand point yes,
but both vtec and non vtec d blocks are identical with the exception of an oil jet in the non vtec you remove

| yeah if you put the right combo together.....certain blocks are better than others and other heads are better than others. just depends on what you have and what you want to invest in it. the y8 i have, i guess has shitty flow, and a good porting will help it out for air flow and what not. the d15b7 manifold i have is better than the d16y7 manifold i had but the y8 that i need has better flow and bigger runners from what i've been told. | |

| i fucked something up internally joey, and i'm not sure what. the block sounds ok as far as putting a screwdriver to it and listening, the head on the other hand is where the chatter seems to be coming from | |

| i depends
would you rather spend 1500 to go mid 13s like my auto d on a 50shot can do
or would you rather spend 9000 to run mid 13s then have to modify to get it to go faster?

| double check the timing and check the valve lash on the little d you got there might just need an adjustment... | |

| since you said that it might be a timing issue.....i checked the lash and it's all good. and i did it by the book. 1.3.4.2. | |

| i for one have never seen a k20a2 (or better) into a crx run in the 13s like at all lol, must have still been rocking the 13 inch steelies. and for the most part your throwing it in with the basic bolt ons anyways, (which actually make a difference on a k) and mostly likley kpro, yeah it costs a lot of money, but there is far more potential in the k then the d will ever have.
im just sayin lol. | |

| i see where you are coming from. but i just don't see it financially advantageous to do a k swap. i'll run what i have, all it takes is knowing how to use it. | |

| i know that most people cant afford to do the k swap, hell im one of them, but that doesnt mean i wont preach it until they are as cheap as a common b series swap. lol. | |
